The first step to take in renewing your licence is to go to the URL of the Drivers licence centre which is www.nigeriadriverslicence.org click on it and then go to renew your driver’s licence from the site. Fill the necessary requirement and then pay the licence fee at the bank or online.

Next step to get done is to present your application form to the Board of Internal Revenue (BIR) Officer and VIO at the DLC for endorsement which can be found in all local government area of the state where you are applying.

After the endorsement has been done, you can now proceed to the federal road safety commission branch where you filled in your form to get your biometric and data captured.

When the capture has been done, you will immediately be issued with a temporary driver’s licence that will last for 60days.

At the end of the 60^th day you will receive text message requesting you to come with your temporary drivers licence to enable you collect the original licence that will now last for 3years before you renew it.
